1. What Is a Random Wheel Picker?

Random Picker Wheel is a simple, fun, and interactive tool that helps you make random choices quickly and fairly.

Add any list of names, options, or items, then spin the wheel to let chance decide the winner or selection.

It’s great for giveaways, choosing tasks, team selection, deciding where to eat, classroom activities, or anytime you want decisions to feel fair and exciting.

Every spin uses a balanced randomization system, ensuring each item has an equal chance of being chosen.

2. How to Use the Spinner

Using the Random Picker Wheel is very simple and only takes a few steps:

1. Enter your options

   • Type your items into the input area.
   • Press Enter or click the Add (+) button to add each new entry.
   • You can add unlimited items as you like, edit them anytime, or remove unwanted ones.

2. Advance options

   • Select the “Advanced” checkbox to enable advanced mode.
   • Add entries with images or customize each option individually.
   • Adjust slice color and weight for each item.
   • Disable, delete, or duplicate entries with one click.

3. Spin the Wheel

   • When your list is ready, click the “Spin” button (or press Ctrl + Enter).
   • The wheel will rotate, slow down, and land on a completely random selection.

4. View the Result

   • The chosen option will appear clearly in the result box.
   • You can spin again, reset the wheel, or remove the selected item (depending on your settings).

5. Use Optional Features

   • Shuffle: Randomly rearrange your entries instantly.
   • Sort: Alphabetically sort all items with one click.
   • Add images: Attach images to entries or add image-only slices.

3. Adding Entries to Your Wheel

Begin by filling the wheel with your choices. The “Entries” panel on the left is where you’ll manage everything.

Simple Mode

The basic text box lets you type or paste items, one per line. Each line becomes a separate slice on the wheel.

Advanced Mode

Turn on “Advanced” mode to unlock more detailed controls.

This transforms your entry list into a feature-rich panel with powerful customization options.

In Advanced Mode, you can:

• Add New Entries: Click the “Add Entry” button to add a new, blank row.
  
• Reorder Items: Drag the dotted handle to move entries up or down.
• Customize Each Entry:
  
  • Weight: By default, every entry has a weight of ‘1’. Increase weight to make a slice bigger and more likely to win.
  • Color: Choose a unique color for each slice.
  • Image: Click the image icon to upload picture that will appear on that entry’s slice.
  • Disable: Temporarily hide an entry without deleting it.
  • Delete: Permanently deletes the entry from your list.
  • Duplicate: Instantly creates a copy of that entry, including its name, weight, and color.

4. Customizing Your Wheel (Settings Menu)

Use the Settings icon on the right sidebar to change how the wheel looks and behaves.

The settings are divided into three tabs:

Spinning Tab

Control how the wheel behaves while spinning.

• Ticking Volume: Adjust the clicking sound as the wheel rotates.
• Spin Duration: Set how long the spin lasts (1–40 seconds).

After Spin Tab

Decide what happens after the wheel picks a winner.

• Sound Volume: Adjust the volume for celebration sound.
• Launch Confetti: Check this box to have a fun confetti animation play when the winner is announced.
• Result Title: You can customize the default text “The winner is” to anything you like.
• Remove Button: Choose whether to show a “Remove” option after the result.

Appearance Tab

Personalize the design of your wheel.

• Wheel Type:
  • Color Wheel: This is the default. Each entry gets a slice with a solid color.
  • Background Image Wheel: Use an image as the wheel background.
• Colors & Themes: Choose preset themes or select individual slice colors.
  
• Wheel background image: When in “Background image wheel” mode, you can select from a list of images or click Upload Image to upload your own picture.
  

5. Spinning the Wheel & Viewing Results

Press the large “SPIN” button in the center of the wheel to start.

When the wheel stops, a pop-up will show the selected winner.

• Close: The winning entry (“Germany” in this case) remains on the wheel for future spins.
• Remove: Removes selected item “Germany” from the wheel.

6. Viewing Previous Results

Open the “Results” tab to see a complete history of all winners during your session.

You can also clear the entire result list with one click.

7. Managing & Sharing Your Wheel

The right sidebar includes additional tools to help you personalize and share your wheel.

• Edit Title & Description (Pencil Icon):

  Rename your wheel and add a short summary using the edit pop-up.

  
• Reset Wheel (Refresh Icon):

  Restore all settings and clear entries. An “Undo” option appears for few seconds if you click it by mistake.

  
• View Mode (Eye Icon):

  Hide editing tools and display the wheel in fullscreen mode for presentations or classroom use.

• Share Wheel (Share Icon):

  This is how you save your wheel and share a link with others.

  1. Click the Share icon.
  2. Choose your Visibility:
     • Anyone with the link can spin: Others can use your wheel but cannot see or copy your settings and entry list.
     • Anyone with the link can spin and copy: This allows others to spin your wheel and save a copy of it to their own account.
  3. Click “Create share link”.
     
  4. The tool will generate a unique URL. You can copy this link and send it to anyone!
